PC, Chinese name is polycarbonate. It is a new type of thermoplastic, transparent degree of 90%, known as transparent metal. It is rigid and tough, with high impact strength, high dimensional stability and wide range of temperature, good electrical insulation, heat resistance and non-toxic, and can be molded by injection and extrusion.

PC has excellent thermal performance, can be used for a long time between -100 ℃ and 130 ℃, and the embrittlement temperature is below -100 ℃. Although polycarbonate has poor resistance to cracking and resistance, easy hydrolysis at high temperature, poor compatibility with other resins and poor lubrication performance, it can be modified by adding other resins or inorganic fillers, thus obtaining very excellent performance.

Application range of polycarbonate:

Optical lighting: it is used to manufacture large lampshade, protective glass, left and right eyepiece tube of optical instrument, etc. it can also be widely used in transparent materials of aircraft.

Electronic and electrical appliances: polycarbonate is an excellent E (120 ℃) grade insulating material, which is used to manufacture insulating connector, coil frame, tube socket, insulating sleeve, telephone shell and parts, battery shell of miner's lamp, etc. It can also be used to make parts with high dimensional accuracy, such as CD-ROM, telephone, electronic computer, video recorder, telephone exchanger, signal relay and other communication equipment. Polycarbonate thin film is also widely used as capacitor, insulating leather bag, audio tape, color video tape, etc.

Mechanical equipment: used for manufacturing all kinds of gears, racks, worm gears, worms, bearings, cams, bolts, levers, crankshafts, ratchets, as well as some mechanical equipment shells, covers, frames and other parts.

Medical equipment: can be used for medical purposes cup, tube, bottle and dental instruments, drug containers and surgical instruments, and even can be used as artificial kidney, artificial lung and other artificial organs.

Other aspects: it is used as double wall panel with hollow bars, glass of greenhouse, etc; In the textile industry, it is used for textile bobbins, textile machine bearings, etc; Daily use for bottles, tableware, toys and models.
